On October 25th, 2007 (this Thursday), starting at 6PM and lasting until 9PM, we will be having a game/movie night. There will be a wealth of movies to choose from (3:10 to Yuma, all the way to I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry). If you come, you might want to bring a snack and a game, because the movie will be playing, and come join us if you just want to socialize! See you there!
The first Asian Student Association Meeting of the fall semester will be held on Wednesday, September 19th in Brackett Hall 122 at 6:33pm.

Thursday, January 25, 2007. 7:00 PM. Location is now set as the Woodlands Clubhouse. Everyone should try and bring an entree type dish if possible…ASA will provide the cups, drinks, napkins, plates and utensils.
We will watch a movie probs and just hang out. This will also serve as our first official “meeting” of the semester. Post what movie you’d ideally wanna see…(try to keep in the “A”, aka ASIAN).
Feel free to ask for a ride if you need one.
The Bone Marrow Drive will be held in the Palmetto Ballroom in the Student Union from Monday through Friday, November 13-17, from 10am to 7pm. This is not an official ASA event, but it is for a good cause and just takes a minute of your time. Being tested only involves four quick swabs of your cheek with cotton swabs. Once you register once, you will never have to be registered again. There is no commitment that you will have to actually donate bone marrow if a match is found. It is especially important for Asians to register because there are so few currently in the registry. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me.
Also, a few people have told me that they drove by the ‘kickball’ game but didn’t see anyone playing kickball because we had started playing flag football instead and were pretty far away from the road. The directions listed on the web site probably weren’t the best, and I apologize for this because it is partly my fault for allowing it to happen. For future reference, if anyone ever has questions concerning the details of an event please contact any of the officers.
We will be having a kickball game this Sunday, October 29th, on the Intramural Fields across from Fike Recreation Center (the fields adjacent to the football stadium, not the fields by the street).  It will start at 3:00pm.  This is a BYOB event, however. We should have a cooler with gatorade in it.  If you do not like gatorade, feel free to bring your own beverage of choice.
If you are worried about the weather, www.weather.com is calling for a high of 64 degrees and sunny so come dressed appropriately. Â Also, if you have anybody you would like to invite, bring ‘em!
